A former 3-star Admiral, he serves on the Education & Labor Committee (and its Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions Subcommittee); the Armed Services Committee; and the Small Business Committee, where he is Vice-Chairman (and a member of its Regulation, Healthcare, and Trade Subcommittee).
