week of 12/13

In this time of expectation and waiting, God we come before you as people who are anxious, fearful, or curious about the future. As we pray, give us the faith and the hope to hold on as we wait for you to work, to answer our prayers, to speak clearly to us. We believe that you hear us. Lord, hear our prayers.

I’m distracted. I want to be/need to be focused on Christ, but my thoughts are selfishly elsewhere. Pray for focus on Christ and his people in my life.

Pray for me o.k. Thank you!

I pray that the lord takes my hand & opens my heart this week to lead me through the valley I’m in with peace & grace. Let me feel His presence constantly & be strengthened in my faith.

I need a special pray 4 my daughter she going thru a depression its very hard on me because im there for here but she don’t think nothing wrong with her. So I’m putting it in God’s hands. Because its hurting me! Seeing her go threw this in God name we pray amen.

I want to talk to someone, I need to. I am too afraid to write my name on the back of this card. I am going to fail.

I’m really nervous about this new relationship. It tends to give me these fits of self concsiousness. Because I really do care about it.

Jesus, it still doesn’t seem real. Still seems too good to be true. I thank you for the possibility of having health insurance again.

Thank you, Spirit, for this precious gift.

For my brother who continues to have medical complications and hospital visits.
For my other brother—for traveling safeties and for preparation as he gets ready to spend a year abroad in remote rural villages.
For me—that I can have hope for my – that “a change is gonna come” and that I can instill that hope in them…for justice to be done.

Praise God, for Christ revealed to us that if we accept his love then that relationship is the trigger for “flowing water,” aka the Holy Spirit to come from out of our hearts. Praise God for the Gospel of John which offers all the answers for those of us who “hunger and thirst” for Christ. Amen!


God of love and mercy, be present in our lives. For all of these prayers to be answered, we need to feel and know your presence. Walk with us, God, and guide us. Remind us to be joyful, in spite of our afflictions, and full of hope that is rooted in you. Amen.
