God, we have entered a new year—a new decade! The glitz and glitter of Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations are fading fast, and we are left facing a fresh, cold, new year, full of possibilities, some thrilling, some scary. We remember the kings who came to see Jesus in the manger, how they were alert to Your movements in the world, how they followed Your star even when it meant going down unfamiliar paths. We lift up these hopes to You now, trusting that You will show us the way:

I’d like to be a bit nicer, neater, and nearer to God. Also, please make the world a lot more happy. And bring ------------ some peace!

Lord please guide & orient me as I look for new direction in my life. Let my path be one that brings me closer to you & has me doing your work.

I pray that the spirit of God will continue to strengthen my life in every way.
Pray for my spirituality!

May my “prayer” be answered to be “pay(ed)” monies owed to me

for all those stuck in the cold

Praise God, that he has given me a purpose. having a mission from God is not a joke and a real vocation which is to be in service through A.A.; helping addicts who are mentally ill with the 12 steps. Praise God for he shows us that Jesus Christ is still a reality in the face of Christianities decline as an institution!

I need strength & healing for a chronic illness

You’ve given me so much—
the job, the home, the man, the vocation…help me to treasure it, & live well—live the way You call me to live.

Please pray for the family and friends of ------------ ------------ who lost her battle with cancer. Her death has left a great hole in the lives of many. May her powerful example of living life inspire us to continue her work to make this city and region a better place for all.

I pray that the heat will stay on at BSM to keep everyone who enters warm, and to bring people in from the cold

I am thankful for family, for a roof over my head & food on my plate. May I be a light for others to see GOD’s grace.

the glory of God above for another year in God’s masterpiece. Hopes for a better future. Hoping an angel or saint will see my thanks in this crazy journey. My regards to those who entered eternity in 09’. Continue to renew me with air in my lungs & blood in my viens. May my prayers be heard to the farthest heavens.

Pray for faith in courage

I pray that God will get me through this difficult time as he always has in the past. And I pray that I will altar my perspective in a way that shows Christs love in me—and stop feeling sorry for myself. I pray that the Lord will remind me how blessed I am.

I have much to do in a short span of time. Lord keep me faithful. Be with those on the streets, bring safety and shelter into their lives.

Please pray for the continued healing of my mom’s back

Jesus, our needs are many, and the cold somehow makes everything seem more pressing, more acute. Make Yourself known, and felt, in some way. Move in our world to bring about Your kingdom, in which every one is warm, fed, at home, healthy, whole, loved. We need this, Jesus, more than ever. Work through us, empower us, to make it a reality.
