Gracious God,
You reach out to us and try to pull us up out of the deepest depths of suffering. You desire for us to spring forth in response and assume you will be there to catch us. We hold back and turn away. The world has taught us not to trust or make assumptions about love and compassion. We remain stuck and see even the faintest glimmers of hope fade into the unknown all around us. In an attempt to reach out towards your outstretched arms, we pray:
I would ask for Prayer & God's presence to suround my Good Friend -------------as he dies in hospice. he has been a Loving Man in my & so many Peoples Lives. We ask for prayers for him, but also for us. He is at Peace, & we don't know quite how we'll live without him.
-Two days ago my best friend told me that she was raped last week. I am not sure what to even say or do. She has been to a rape clinic and is okay medically we think but the emotional trauma has not even set in fully. She has many hard days and nights ahead.
-That peace may reign over anger, pain, & bitterness; that we may find inner peace.
Please Pray with me in praying for my sister, for her health and a peace a mind, my friend ------------who is still in the hospital, my family, friends, love one and the world. That God watch over them and that they find and open there Hearts to God.

I pray, that we always try to remember, that when we are unsure and afraid of making the wrong decision that we simply say: "God please handle this, it's much too heavy for me."
Please help me find and maintain a steady job so I can pay for school and ----- expenses. This is the city of my God; never again should I leave it.
