Lord, we are grateful for the way that You speak through Your Word in new ways, showing us again and again how to get back to You. We thank You for the ways that You speak to us unexpectedly, through little everyday things, but also through these prayers of Your people. For the first time ever before, I feel I am where I am supposed to be, doing what I am supposed to be doing. I feel complete assurance of that. So I am excited what opportunities the Lord has for me. And I feel perhaps for the first time that my story is important to the Lord. Praise God!

Prayers for the city:
For its people, of all different races and hearts;
For its animals, sharing the world with us;
For its streets, that they may become ways of peace;
For the city, that it may be a place of love.

Please pray for the teachers in the school district of philadelphia. There are many new teachers (100-200) and many veteran teachers who will be starting at new schools. Pray that in each school a culture of learning will grow and all teachers will work together for the benefit of all students.

Please pray that my daughter ------------ would be able to fight off the voices of those that want to pull her off her walk with Christ as she head off to college

We need God's provision this week as we pack up and finalize semester details. At this point my finances are exhausted but I have faith that God will see us through
Thanks for praying for us

Lord I can’t imagine being fearless.
But I want to be.
Bring healing to ---------- and her daughter ------------ who is very sick.
Help him out of all things that cause him to panic. Empower him to live the abundant life You offer. Help him to love himself.

God, please grant me guidance in spiritual decision, to know whether part of your body is no longer healthy for me.
Please heal that part of your body.

God, restore me, heal me—let me be someone new who lets go of competitiveness & grudges & shame & unworthiness. Let me be someone who belongs & who loves & is love. Nearer.

I pray that I will be inspired by my work—and that I will receive some direction regarding my future—what job I should do, what people I should spend my time with, where I should live. I am so blessed, so loved and so lucky—I just need help knowing what to do now

Hold me, Jesus.
Help me have hope for what is best for me, for him.

Thank you for the great word that I have received. Thank you for moving me to walk into here. I needed this today.

Protect my health, let me not miss home too much. Let me think clearly and not be anxious and sad.

May I begin to see myself more in the way that God sees me. May people in this city find shelter from the rain this evening.

Jesus, we thank You for Your reminders that we are more than the limited understandings we have of ourselves, and that those around us are so much more than what we judge them to be. Help us to see ourselves and each other with Your eyes, eyes that see what we are and see what we were made to be. Help us change. Thank You for Your incomprehensible faithfulness. Amen.
