a BSM Advent Film Series
"Time is indispensable to man, so that by becoming flesh, he can realize himself as a person." - Andrei Tarkovsky
Each year, Churches around the world celebrate the season of Advent as a time of expectant waiting. This Advent, join BSM as we integrate the arts into our communal process of waiting for a savior. Together we will explore ideas about time, memory, and faith as we reflect on three films by the Russian director, Andrei Tarkovsky. After each viewing, there will be a facilitated discussion about the film as it relates to our own experiences of waiting during this season.
