God, week after week we come to encounter You alongside others in worship. We come to hear a Word from You, a Word that brings real change in our lives. Sometimes we hear it and sometimes all we can hear are our own concerns. We offer to You these prayers and ask You to bring Your transforming presence into our lives so that we might more easily hear Your words of love, love for us and for all people:

Found out through a friend of me: a young man named ----------- disappeared a few days ago and was just found. He had taken his life. I want to life him and his fiancee ------------ in prayer. I pray ------------- and -------------’s family can find peace and understanding.
For all to be friends of Christ
I pray that I wouldn’t be complacent in my faith. May God be glorified in my efforts.
Please pray for my brother, that his joy returns.
Pray for my brother’s & my sister-in-law’s health and happiness.

I can hold a great convo. I can make you laugh or feel sad or connected or loved. But to connect feels like a million miles away. God help me to be connected, to invest in others, to really really love. To be honest to the point of ugly. especially in this place. without it I have no redempion to give or recieve

Prayers for a good friend & person who has jeopardized everything, who is alone, isolated & scared. Please be with him & his family now & in the days to come. I pray that his one bad choice not destroy the rest of his life. I pray that he is able to redeem himself & recuperate.
God, I am finally ready to call you by name. Be here with us as we, as a people, join together to fight for the equal rights of our every neighbor.

Jesus help me to remember that I deserve to have someone to walk with me when all hell breaks loose. & help me to see those who were there & my memory’s just flawed. Thank You for being there. Renew my heart Break through my cynicism & open my eyes to the moments of real joy & beauty & healing. Help me experience that healing. & help me, work through me, to facilitate others’ healing. Amen.
Please help me to accept what the future holds, for me and for humanity. Help me not to stagnate, nor be fooled into believing that my/our only redeeming quality is to be a robot. “My heart is an economy due to this autonomy”--2D

Help us to let go of our time, our energy, our money, to use it and give it for the furtherance of Your Kingdom on earth.
