week of 7/10/11

Lord, hear these prayers from Your people:

Pray for my health. And my wisdom of the Lord.

Please pray that I become ever more faithful to the Lord Jesus + his commission to make disciples.

Please pray for
1. My grandmom, ------. She took a fall yesterday and is in the hospital. Please pray for a speedy recovery; for her recovery physically and mentally.
2. My mom has some negative influences in her life; I pray for her wisdom and ability to see things as they really are.

Pray for those troubled by fire.

Please give thanks to the Lord God for my friends, family, and my work, and the beauty and wonder of art. Please pray for my sister ----- and my friends the ------ to know peace in their hearts. Please give thanks for the gift of the life of our friend ---. Thank you.

Dearest God, draw me near. Allow me to trust in You- to take care of me, help me to prosper, to meet my goals for my creative project.

Thank you God for abundance. Please pray for my godson -------. He is teething and he and his mama could use some sleep.

Thankful my dad is in strong recovery from heart surgery

Thankful for Grammy’s health

Prayers:
Those who are suffering from physical and mental pain
The heartbroken
Strength of all individuals
Help my brother find God + love for those who matter
My cousin to come back to her family
Those who have died- that there are resting peacefully in heaven

Please help me to see the seeds of God within others/and within myself. Help me to realize that I am beautiful, worthy, and loved. Help others realize it as well.

I pray to be mentally and physically strong and pray for friends and family and everyone and everywhere. Church members.

Please God,
Never let my desire for fairness overshadow my longing for mercy and demand for justice. Especially when it keeps me on top. Have grace on me so that I will heap grace on others.

Pray for my mom to find peace..

Pray that my dad that has passed away forgave me for my shortcomings before he passed away.

Pray that I make the best job decision to give me balance with work/life issues.

Please remember -----’s Stepdad in your prayers. He is an amazing, loving man that is going through serious health concerns. Amen.

Pray for me in being open to exploring a new relationship and in forgiving my past.

Please help me to overcome self-cancelling/destructive thoughts/actions/habits.

Watching Your people participate in communion, feating at Your table, is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. Thank You for this and other glimpses of Your kingdom.

Please pray for me.

My sister-in-law’s father was just diagnosed with sage 3B lung cancer. I never know what to say. I know how devastated she must be and will continue to be. Please help me be a better sister and aunt even though I’m far away. Thank you for this place and the people in it.

Dear Lord,
We grieve the loss of your faithful servant --- -------- who passed this week. I’m grateful to have known him and what he taught me. Help his family through this difficult time. Show his congregation the way forward- in Your name.
