week of 11/8

Father God, be with our community. These are the voices of your children crying out and we lift them up to you. Hold these prayers in your hands, breathe your life into them, let your presence in the lives of these your children become more visible day by day:

Lord, help me to not interfere in the plans you have for my life. Lead and guide me father to do your will and not mine. Amen.

I want to be generous yet debt still consumes and I am still a consumer. I don’t know how to be financially free and free from my finances. I pray for all too many people without jobs, who feel bored, lazy, hopeless, worthless, and worry about their health, their kids, their bread and butter. Change our economics.

Please pray for my friend ----- newly diagnosed with cancer. I pray God sends me the right words to say to her.

Lord help me to express to ------ who you are, the light that you bring into a dark room. Help e to show her that each of us in our own small way can turn on a light. Amen.

Father God, give me an unmistakable sense of our presence with me this week: love, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, and joy. Amen.

You have been here, calling us to yourself from all time you knew us by name. We have not trusted. In Jesus you show us how much you love us. Offer ourselves. Holy spirit work in us now & trust and all in.

Prayer for the process of grieving – that I will be ok with bad days, and thankful for good days, willing to let the tears flow when they need to, and to laugh when I need to, for a feeling of peace.

Dear God, help me with my struggles in this life. Let me get through it somehow. Thank you, me.

My friend -----------, that he may experience God’s peace and comfort in his life. For my mom and grandson, that they may return to life in the Father.

For those who cannot come in from the cold this season…I ask for a respite from the elements. I pray that, with your guidance, we find an end to homelessness in our city. Lead my heart in the ways of patience, truth, and love.

Prayer for me to find faith. Real faith. I often fall so short. Prayer for my family and for those who are experiencing brokenness in their family, life or heart.

Lord, it is hard to know how to be faithful when all I have is this debt, no healthcare, little money, and sense of calling in I know not what direction. Help me and keep me faithful.

Spirit, bring healing to ----, ----, ----, ----, ----, ----, -----, -----, -----. Lord, I praise you for the healing I’ve already seen.

Jesus, I had hope in that job…that didn’t come through. You know I am longing to do what you call me to do – why then is this all so hard? I am just trying to eat and pay my measly rent. Forgive me if I whine. I am just so weary. This is a wilderness…. Lord make a way --- lead me through it.

Heavenly father, please, if I am supposed to get over ------- help me to do that. I still love and miss him. I have faith in you.

Use me Lord. Wipe the false view from my eyes and erase and delete the false beliefs about myself and who I am. Replace it all with dear eyes and a peace-filled heart.

Pray for --------. That he stays in good health and finds direction in his life.

God, open all of our eyes so we can see you each day and feel your presence to allow us to act your children. To be spiritual bread for others.

Please pray for me to understand others’ intentions. Why am I abandoned? Am I holding myself from others? Help me to understand and do better.
To live into the hope that you are there.

Praise God that the holy spirit is available to even the ones who are unbaptized. Praise God that grace is experienced even without adulation and idolizing the sacraments. Praise God that the gospels can be printed cheaply and anyone who can read can experience the message of God’s kingdom in the name of Christ. Praise God for the wisdom arising out of intuition so that grace can be understood. Amen.

God, help me to not get tied up in the busy-ness and the tasks. Help me to remember.
Thank you for abundant shelter. Let us offer shelter to others. I want to live as your disciple at work. Help me with that.

Thank you Lord God for this moment. For allowing me to be in your presence in your space Lord God. I pray that you continue to be with me in this journey, please help me be strong and make the right decisions for my life. Lord father, I love you and thank you for the love you’ve bestowed upon me, my family, and my loved ones. I pray that you forgive me and help me let go of behaviors that aren’t pleasing to you. Merci Bon Bien!!! Merci!!! Please continue to bless me and be with me. Amen and Ashe.

I pray that I may receive forgiveness for my sins threw Jesus Crist my Lord and Savor. I also pray that some one can help me get I.D. so I can get a job and stop being homeless. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Jesus, in giving up these requests to you we do not abdicate our responsibility to our brothers and sisters, your children. Mobilize the church to put to put our loving arms around one another in our times of joy and in our times of struggle and sorrow. Let us draw near to those who are suffering, let us use our gifts and talents to your purposes in each other’s lives. Let us be your body, your hands, your feet, your agent of justice, mercy, love, compassion, goodness, and truth in this world. Amen.
