Praise God for he raises me from the near-death of sleep to serve Him. He raises me to be of service to other alcoholics/addicts with mental health disorders and by this work I obey the commandments of Christ. Amen.
Our needs and suffering escalate out of control as the weather grows colder and the days shorter. While we cry for relief, help us to remember the suffering endured by your only Son from his birth in a manger and his death on a cross. While we catch glimpses of hope, help us to seek your promises of your enduring and everlasting hope to come. We ask all these things in your Son’s good and holy name. Amen
