week of 12/20

God, in the days leading up to Christmas, our longings feel especially urgent, they heavily on our hearts as we grow tired of carrying them. Your Incarnation, Your act being truly present in and through and alongside humanity, reminds us that no longing is alien to You; no desire or temptation is unfamiliar to You. In the spirit of earnest Christmas hope, and trusting that through the miracle of Christmas—the Incarnation—You not only hear our prayers but actively move in our lives as a response to them, we ask You to hear us now:

I will be moving soon & I need a fresh start in so many ways. I also need strength dealing w/illness in my family.

Thank You Lord Jesus for your love for us all!

Lord strengthen my faith. Help me to give myself over to your will, trust in you & accept the gift of your joy.
Help me make, keep & sustain this choice.

Pray for peace in my family fo safety for my brother in Iraq. For healing for my mother, my sisters, my Father. Pray for me to be able to talk to my sister again. Pray for a peaceful Christmas pray that I might find meaning in prayer again. Pray for those who have no one to pray for them.

I Am overwhelmed with deep joy. Thank You God for blessing my life so. My prayer is that you would bless others continually.

Please bring me my soulmate. If he is here, help me see him. Until then, please help me be patient & stop being sad.

Praise God, he brought me by the hand out of exile to participation in his kingdom. Praise God, for he told me that exile is not eternal and that even the fallen angels are redeemed. Praise God for he uses my “defects” in service to the mission he has given me to help the alcoholics and addicts of the world to live sober. Amen!
