God, it is easy for us to lose touch with You, to forget the feel of You, and Your movements in our lives. We forget, we question whether You were ever there at all, and yet, somehow, sometimes, we still find ourselves praying. We still find ourselves picking up the pencil and the card and expressing something that’s deep down. Thank You for honoring our prayers, no matter how frequent or rare they are…and speak to us in the midst of these prayers, speak to us in between these lines:

I need to know I'm loved now that Easter is over.
To give a friend grace when he pisses me off.
For the confused & lost, that they may find themselves in Christ.
For the brokenhearted, that they may find a love they can believe in once again.
For those who have been hurt & betrayed, that they may know that no one knows betrayal like Christ.
For those who are angry, may they see that even Jesus got angry, and yet peace reigned.
That God can help me protect myself by taking care not to let everything chip away at my peace and my cool, so that I can stay healthy and give myself freely to others.
Heavenly Father
I am a mess. Please help me deal with my life. and feel happy about the future instead of so terribly fearful.

my prayer today is for the people going through a troubling moment in their marriage. my prayer is for all those children & adults who have an unfortunate or non-existent relationship with their fathers. Lord may families be restore and happiness overflow from their lives. This is my prayer.
I pray that Christ’s true Shalom fill finally fill the hearts of ALL God’s children. I pray that despite our political or social views, we may unite instead on God’s love…ever growing & never ending.
