A Christmas Carol @ BSM!
Monday December 20, 7:30 PM @ Broad Street Ministry (315 S Broad St)
The PAC comes back to where it all began…In the venue where we brought you Life is a Dream and The Duchess of Malfi, this FREE performance of A Christmas Carol on Monday, December 20th, at 7:30, will be followed by hot apple cider and a special PAC announcement about our 2012 season!
Think you know Ebenezer Scrooge? Think again. Inspired by Dickens’ own adaptation for performance, and using only Dickens’ original text, PAC co-founder Damon Bonetti directs a fresh and haunting version of this holiday classic.
One night only, and space is limited! Please RSVP to philadelphiaartistscollective@gmail.com
This unforgettable two-person event presents a darker side of Dickens' holiday classic, accompanied by live music and sound and featuring Christopher Coucill (PAC’s Life is a Dream; Interact’s Silverhill; Broadway’s Annie Get Your Gun) and John Greenbaum (Wilma’s Macbeth, Philadelphia Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, Society Hill Playhouse’s Back in the Army).
Admission is free, but donations are encouraged. Half of all proceeds will benefit Philabundance, the region’s largest food bank and hunger relief organization.
