God, we come before You after a hectic Christmas season. The wrapping paper has all been thrown away, we are facing a new, raw year, unformed and a little scary. Some of us have been reminded in the past few weeks of how loved we are, by You and by Your people; some of us have been reminded of a loneliness we don't like to admit. From these conflicted states of heart, we come to You, wondering what is next, but standing on the promises of Your Incarnation that You enter into our hearts and lives through and through. Move and work and breathe new life into these our prayers, oh Emmanuel, God-with-us:
[blank card]
[illegible]
For the restoration of my family and for spiritual renewal in each of us. for mental, emotional, spiritual & physical healing and for strongholds & bondage of the enemy to be loosed and forever broken. For personal strength and the power of prayer/fellowship through Christ & the Spirit I pray
A prayer for those stuck exposed to the elements
thank you Lord Jesus
for humility
for unseen gifts
for unseen friends
Gift us again with your presence.
DEAR G-D,
i WONDER IF i DESERVE ALL THE THINGS YOU DO FOR ME & FOR MY FAMILY, WITHOUT YOU I'M NOTHING, WITH YOU I'M SOMETHING
------------ --------------- -----------------.
ME.
May all those out in the snow right now find a warm place to be tonight (& always)
Oh Father
In so many ways You restore me I only Hope that I will be available when my opprutunity comes to share Your gifts with the person who was ment for me.
healing, Lord. healing.
I know it's there for me, for all of us
Help me, help us, claim it for my/our own.
Jesus, You have come once again into our world, and we are forever changed. But we need Your help to see the changes that are already happening and the changes that are possible. Walk with us as only You can through our day-to-day, show us new ways to see ourselves, You, and each other. Empower us to act on opportunities to be love to Your people, all people. We praise You for the ways in which You're already working in our lives. Thank You, thank You, thank You. May it always be so, Amen.
