Volunteer Meet and Greet
Wednesday, February 23rd, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
BSM's programs are made up of countless moving parts that work together to "make the magic happen" when it comes to extending radical hospitality, enacting justice, and facilitating human flourishing. Without volunteers and their offerings of time, effort, dreams, and energy, BSM wouldn't exist. All different kinds of folks make up our volunteers, with all different kinds of commitments--everyone from weekly kitchen helpers to monthly Breaking Bread servers to twice a year clothing closet organizers.
At the Volunteer Meet and Greet you'll get a chance to take a peek at a few of these moving parts, ask some questions you've always wanted to ask, and explore what it would mean for you or someone you know to involve themselves in this aspect of BSM life.
Here are just some of the programs that will be on display:
Breaking Bread
Mail Service
Therapeutic Art
Hospitality
315 Cafe
The Motley Order Choir
Arts & Culture
Community Events
So, come on out, bring a friend, and join us for our monthly No Barriers Dinner, and while you're here, wander through our Volunteer Meet and Greet downstairs. You'll be able to connect with people integrally involved in each of our programs and take home some vital information about what it means to volunteer at BSM.
If you are able, please RSVP to our Facebook event by clicking here.
