week of 5/8/11

God, we come before you with full hearts and minds, our own sorrows and gratitudes, as well as concerns for others and for our world. We need Your grace and new life to enter into our lives and sustain us. Hear now the prayers of Your people:

Pray for health of my mother and the strength, courage to defeat the demons of my addictions.

I would like the BSM community to pray with me to acheive success in my life and yours also. I'm seeking a job, home and peace within my family. With yours and my prayers combined: I believe Jesus will respond.

A friend ----------- is pregnant with twins her water broke last week. She is currently 28 weeks along. The DR's are trying to wait until 32 weeks.

Please remember her and her family in your prayers.

Give her strength, courage, & wisdom thru this time. Amen.

I give thanks for recent good fortune--almost a miracle--thank you God--on mother's day--I give thanks for my son--and I pray for my mother--

For a sense of wholeness in the repetition of broken moment after broken moment. Amen.

For all mothers and those do a mother's job.

Lord, help me to find your truth in the messages that confuse me. Help me to understand & reach out to those I feel reproach or disdain or fear toward.

Also, thank you Lord for my awesome, awesome partner. I am so thankful for our friendship & love & connection with each other.

sometimes I forget to reside in You. Thank You for keeping me grounded and preparing a place for me with You.

Prayer for this church to do as Jesus did what my church does go to the halfway house, homeless shelters drug rehabs comfort the lost cloth the nake give out share/philabunace can foods fresh foods go in a 5 block area invite people to Christ-Jesus that's what Christ-Jesus would do if he was like in his time have an outreach ministry on the street at least two times a week. Minister ---------.

How many souls have your members brought to this church to give thier life to Jesus

You are the God who knows and loves me. You give my life meaning. I worship you.

for the farewells of this week

for the grace that has carried me through

For wise descernment to be in and with the world.

The ministry of this church, it's community and its welcoming have been an incredible blessing in my life, and the lives of the friends I come with. we are graduating next sunday and all moving to different cities. I thank God for bringing me here, and showing me glimpses of his kingdom--I will pray for the continued ministry of this church, and surely be back someday.

Dear God who makes all things possible:

It seems that many of my loved ones are burdened with sickness and anxiety. Please be with me as I try to do your will--to make this precious life better for both myself & those around me

Jesus, we need Your transformation to be made real in our lives. There is so much brokenness, and yet, we know that You are the Prince of Peace, the only one who can truly heal us. Bring Your healing into the midst of these situations and into our hearts. We praise You for Your faithfulness, Your stubborn, persistent love. Amen.
