Gracious God,
Our prayers are everything we are afraid to say to you and cannot say to one another. We admit to being willful people who are persistent in our own way. We never consider the pain we inflict upon each other and upon you as we stubbornly trudge towards our own self-fulfillment. Lift us out of this captivity and moments of pain. Form us to be your people, a “we”, an “us”. Be in the midst of this community as we boldly pray:
I pray for comfort, reassurance, and safety in my future. May my life be a reflection of God’s love. Also, let my heart find its place and become one w/another. Let my understanding of God & God’s mind be infinite, and that my worries of school/life fade away.
So thankful to a gracious Savior, who brought healing physically to my mother this week as well as healing to my mother and father’s marriage. So blessed to serve a merciful God! J

a couple weeks ago i asked for a prayer to perhaps help me get that job i was pursuing well, i got it! between my home community, my job, broad street ministry and my running group, my life is so much more filled and i am at much more peace than i was 8 months ago. i am so grateful for the place i’m in right now.

Lord, I pray for Those who suffer from illnesses that doctors can’t identify or cure. How do we live in hope without health? For me Lord-Keep me faithful, help me keep my promises.
That my doctors would find something that would heal me.
That I would have peace and direction as I plan for residency.
That the heaviness in my heart would be lifted.
God, I’m getting a bit complacent. What do you want me to do now? What should I do?

You & this community have held me through so many times of joy and sorrow. I am so grateful. I am grieving, again. It never really gets easier, Jesus. I know You know that. But it’s a hard reality for me to embrace. Be with both of us. Send us “somebody to love”…who can love us back & well. Thank You for the joy we shared.
Speak hope into my heart. It is so easy for me to misplace it.

Please help me get through this month as my hours (& therefore paycheck) are getting cut
