God of mercy, God of grace. As we enter this holiday season, we are reminded of the power of hope you bring into this world. As we deal with the struggles of life, remind us that you are stronger than anything we deal with and love and support us no matter what. As you spoke to your people in captivity through your servant Isaiah, speak to us in our time and place to give us assurance of your grace:

I need healing for an illness I am going through. So much has already occurred but there is still a long way to go b/c the medication can only do so much. I also need a place to be on Christmas day. I will not and can not afford to go home for Christmas.

Please Lord keep me strong and bless me with things I want to give this holiday season. I will always know the season’s real meaning and the GIFT that was given to us all and what a GIFT CHRIST is!!!

Please pray for my friend returning to work this week, for college students who are losing jobs, for mothers who do not know how to love their children. Pray for healing for _____

I pray that my stepfather has the strength to get through a surgery that he is going thru tomorrow, and that my mother would have the emotional strength to quit creating fights and inventing slights between us when there were none I should be home.

Dear Lord, Please help me ----- ---- by my relationship and please help me express my ---- ----- in my relationship. Thank you for bringing ____ and I together. Continue to guide us and let us grow together stronger in our relationship.

Please help me to find relationships that are nourishing to me, where I can feel at home and feel loved. Help me to let go of what does not let me be open to what does. To be changed, to move on.

Give me the grace and boldness to continue walking into who you made me to be. What should be risked, let go of, and embraced? Give me assurance that there is love I can do nothing to earn. That love is just there for me.

Lord, Help me not to desire or wish for something I can’t have. Please help bring my best friend and I closer. Help him make a difficult decision that may change our friendship.

Pray that our life moves in the right direction. That I might find the work I am meant to do.

Lord, please continue to mold and sustain me this week. Let me feel your presence as a defense against anxiety and doubt. Help me to remember that I can bring to you any struggle and come to you in any state – that I will be forgiven and loved. Help me to surrender to you in remembrance of how awesome, powerful you are.

Praises be to you o Lord! I am confident of your faithfulness to me even amidst the storm. Amen.

Pray that a business venture will be successful. That I will get the proper authorization and licenses to start the business and off course the funding.

A prayer for all suffering from a cold!

God, I still can’t quite believe it…and I know you know this but I finally got a job that’s full time and live-able (if I’m frugal). Forgive me the moments when I doubted. Give me the courage and strength to move from survival – mode to abundant life. And for as hard as it is, thank you , sweet Jesus, for my work here. Amen and Amen.

I ask for prayer for a transition that is going to happen in my life very soon. I ask that I can be able to allow God to show me how I may be able to continue to be part of the change that God wants to see.

deaf ears unstopped,

Please pray for: For the success of the Christmas concert “studio 315”…that hearts may be blessed. ____. A young woman who just gave her life to Christ. That she may grow in Christ’s love.

O Lord. Thank you for your gift of love to me. Please watch over _____ until he sees your love like I do.

Please pray for him to find authenticity as he leaves his place of refuge.

Lord Jesus, I too ask for something to be anxious for I pray that I can truly HOPE for something to happen at school. For a change to come. For a collaboration. For a unification. For joy and beauty and peace and LOVE, amen

Praise God that intention and faith constitute salvation for the unbaptised. God saw in this way our belief in Christ and sanctified us even though we have not experienced the sacrament of baptism. God is so merciful that the Holy Spirit pours into our hearts even though certain doctrines claim the unbaptised are cut off from the Holy Spirit. Praise God that the power of Christ is activated by faith and is not contained in doctrine. Amen!

called the Holy Road.
No one rude or rebellious

It's for God's people exclusively—
impossible to get lost on this road.
Not even fools can get lost on it.

Welcomed home with gifts of joy and gladness
as all sorrows and sighs scurry into the night.

God of love, God of grace. As we engage in dialogue with your Scripture, speak to us and open our hearts to hear a new word of assurance and hope for our lives. We praise you for loving us and hope for the day when all divisions and strife will break down. May we always live in eager anticipation of the coming of the Lord. Amen.
