God of strength and might,
We come before you weak and weary with the burdens of this world. With pleas and questions, we do not understand the devastation we see around this city and around the world. Come into this time and place with us, in the midst of our chaos, help us to pray saying:
Need of a home job
Prayers 4 family, friends, health money peace
1. A prayer for all higher ed students and administrators
2. A prayer especially for the homeless and underemployed population at Broad street Ministry and beyond
3. A prayer for Senior Citizens in these hard times-> economically and healthwise
4. A prayer for President Obama in this extremely difficult political times.
Lord, Please help me over the next 2 weeks to have food and shelter. I know I am not worthy of your blessing.
Father God,
Forgive me for being so careless lately. Turn me around and make me more mindful of what I’m capable of.

I am so blessed . .. even when I am weary, I am aware of how good You’ve been.
Ever present on my mind are my friends on the street. It is so cold. God, make a way. Make a shelter.
Also, always close to my heart are -----, ------, -----, -----, my mom, -----, and others. Bring them healing, Jesus. Please.
Pray for reconciliation in my family, for peace in their hearts.
Pray for safety for my brother and those he works with in Iraq, that they would come home safely as they hope to improve the safety of those around them now.
Pray for justice tempered with money.
Pray that I find a way to pray again and mean it.
Pray for direction and motivation for my sisters.
Pray to help me embrace instead of judge.
Father,
I ask for warmth & shelter, both physical and emotional, for those who need it tonight. Bring the light. Bring your light. Cause us to shine Lord. I ask you to help me shine for those I encounter in these days of trouble. I want to carry peace like a house.

God please give me the strength over the next year to go to school & work and not grow tired of the extremely busy schedule. Also, thank you since I am very fortunate to be in this situation.

Praise God, for he teaches me that my sins have a purpose. I am kept humble through the knowledge of my wrongs. Praise God, for he teaches me to be obedient through faith in Christ, not fear. Praise God, for he loves me and wants me to love him through Jesus Christ.

Help us to remember we are not alone. Isolation and separateness are not the places you desire for your people. By sending your one and only son to walk on this earth, you desire to be in communion with humanity. Gather us into a warm embrace so that we might know true community. Break down our differences so that we may create a space to belong. We lift up these prayers and ask you to hold them close to your heart. Amen.
