Great and mighty God, we live in a broken world. We see hunger, suffering, and unbearable circumstances all around us. In spite of that, we still long to see, experience, and know YOU, to feel your presence, and to hold onto the hope of something better and different. Let our prayers be a reflection of our hope, a cry out against the suffering, and a move toward something better. Lord, hear our prayers…

It’s a hard place to be in the body of Christ, fully submersed in people, yet feeling alone. Growing up is hard. Change is hard. Yet, both are inevidable. It sucks when everyone grows up and gets their own lives. I pray I can become better at growing up and letting people go and not feel so alone in the process.
Please watch over them as they continue to sift thru the challenges of life and guide them to use the wisdom and make choices that connects them to Christ.

Lord our father,
In this world of sadness and everlasting need somedays it feels that no matter what we do in your name, to help your children, that is never enough.
Lord let us not be numb to the hardships of this world. Lead us to do your will each and every day. May we not loose sight of you. Father we know you are with us and yet we need to feel your presence.
Father do not forget us. Lord we pray for you to work in our lives. Lord always be with us. This we pray.
Healing God, merciful God, loving God, be with us now. Give us the strength to continue to cry out to you. Give us the hope to long for what is better. And give us the knowledge that you and you alone are the one who heals, who will bring us through the suffering, and who will lead us into something new and better. Amen.
