week of 1/23/11


Creator God, once again you have sustained us and nurtured us through another week. Your faithfulness is steadfast and sure. Yet, we are overwhelmed by difficulties that surround us and those we love, even those who are far away. The difficulties often seem insurmountable and we don’t know how to proceed. We pray for your wisdom and peace to guide us.

“Pray for my continued spiritual commitment to God and for my health.”
“Pray that I may serve Christ in this life, may he show me the way. I pray for my earthly needs and for others in need.”

“Please pray 4 me that I stay cancer free and drug free I have another 2 years probation left 2 walk off so please keep me in your prayers and I will keep B.S.M. in my prayers And God Bless da World. Thanx.”

“Pray for the Happy Repose of the souls of -----------and ------------. Pray for the Health and improvement of ------------, ------------.”

“Please pray that ---------- gets a job because she needs book money and living money to make it thru the semester. Please pray for stabilization of problems and issues in Haiti – No more Dictatorships. Please pray for the city’s homeless this week, that warm places will be made available.”

“Pray for my health relationships and for a home soon, but utmost for – protection in the streets!”

“I pray everyday for me and my boyfriend have a warm place to stay. I pray for my daughter for her health and for me and my boyfriends health. Thanks. For everything you done. Improving of my mother’s living situation and hold and keep her lord I love her very much she deserves better than this.
Thank you for the yokes and new life you have allowed me to take advantage of. I promise you Lord I will not forsake you.
My sister’s financial woes please -- -- to her please she needs you more than I. Enrich her marriage and her heart. P.S. Thanks and I love you all.”

“My brother got into a school program. There is a small goal for him to reach daily. He is excited for something now. Praise God thank you for your prayers!”

Gracious God, in all that we say, and all that we do, help us to shine your light into the world and to love one another. We pray these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
